New England Wild Flower Society Garden in the Woods

Headquarters, botanic garden, and living museum with walking paths and trails and the largest collection of native plant species in New England.  The Garden Shop offers native plants, garden gear, botanic books, bird houses and feeders, branded clothing, and fun gifts. 

April 15–October 31: Garden in the Woods and its Garden Shop are open Tuesdays through Sundays 9 AM to 5 PM. Closed Mondays except holiday Mondays. Guided walks offered free with admission Tuesdays through Fridays at 10 AM. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 PM.

Established as a grass roots organization in 1975 by a committed group of citizens, the Danforth Museum of Art has grown to become a vital cultural resource. The Museum provides visitors with entertaining and educational experiences in the visual arts. The Danforth educates the public through its collection of American art, changing exhibits of contemporary artists, classes and workshops in the Museum School, and a variety of community outreach programs.
